The second season of "True Blood" becomes a smooth, perfect summer concoction - a long soapy romance, intrigue and macabre bursts of graphic sex and violence. Different worlds, the romance between Sookie (Anna Paquin), who has psychic ability to hear people think and Bill (Stephen Moyer), a vampire born during the civil war, it has fallen nuts, and vice versa.
Their relationship is complicated, but - and this qualifies as a huge understatement - from different external forces, including regional leader vampire Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), who covets Sookie powers and teenage Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll), he was forced to transformed into a vampire. The latter yields darkly comic performance as a wayward youth and thirst for blood is a potentially combustible mix.
Meanwhile, Sookie friend Tara (Rutina Wesley) still falls under the spell of the mysterious Maryann (Michelle Forbs), adding a spooky Rosemary Baby "kind of hidden in the production and Sookie's brother Jason silly (Ryan Kwanten) experiences a religious awakening, enlisting in the vampire abhor - light Institute.
